How does the pricing work?
Importo offers three plans: Free (50 products/month), Basic (£19/month for 500 products), and Pro (£29/month for 3,000 products). All plans are billed through Shopify and can be upgraded or downgraded at any time. The Free plan is perfect for testing the app, while Basic and Pro plans offer additional features like AI-powered tag generation and description creation.
What file formats do you support?
The Free plan supports CSV and Excel files. Basic and Pro plans support all formats including CSV, Excel (XLSX), PDF, and image files (JPG, PNG).
Can I import product variants and options?
Yes, Importo automatically detects and allows you to review/edit product variants and options before creating them in your Shopify store.
What happens if I exceed my monthly import limit?
You'll be notified when you're close to your limit. You can either upgrade your plan or wait until your limit resets at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with our service. Contact our support team to process your refund.
How does the AI-powered import work?

Database Storage
Your account information and processed product data are stored securely in our Supabase PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest.
File Processing
Uploaded files are processed temporarily and are not permanently stored on our servers. Files are automatically deleted after processing is complete.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Third-Party Services
Shopify
We integrate with Shopify to access your store and create products. This integration is governed by Shopify's privacy policy and terms of service.
Google Gemini AI
We use Google Gemini AI to process and extract product information from your uploaded files. Data sent to Gemini is processed according to Google's privacy policies and is not stored by Google.
Supabase
We use Supabase for secure data storage and user authentication. Supabase complies with GDPR and other privacy regulations.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties except as described in this privacy policy. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
